Cleveland, OH 2011

On July 27-31 26 families met at the Embassy Suites Beachwood, a Cleveland suburb. Our hostess was Carrie Springer, greatly aided by her husband, John. One of our best meetings!

On Thursday we went to Preston’s Hope Playground, a large two-story, totally accessible playground – beautiful and lots of fun!

Thursday evening we went to Happy Days Lodge for good food, great old music, a Magic show, face painting, bracelet-making and an encounter with NASA man – a totally good evening.

Friday night we had dinner and a dance at the hotel. What fun we had – whether dancing or just watching.

Saturday afternoon was Cosmic Bowling – didn’t matter what you scored, just that you tried it and had fun!

There were also a lot of places and activities that some of us took part in: Great Lakes Science Center, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Pro Football Hall of Fame, a Cleveland Indians game and others. You’ll just have to imagine the fun there!
